TM Smart School (TSS) successfully continues its journey to several more Universities. For last week, the Uni Tour was held in two more Universities, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on 12th of July 2010 and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang on 14th of July 2010.
During the workshop, TSS representatives shared their knowledge and techniques of using the LectureMAKER software by giving hands-on training.
The LectureMAKER Uni Tour in UMS was attended by 18 potential customers who are mainly the lecturers of UMS including the Head of e-Learning, Dr Tan Choon Keong who purchased the software right after the workshop. The Deputy Dean was very happy with LectureMAKER and he feels that this software could increase the lecturers’ e-learning contents in the near future. UMS is planning to purchase 100 licenses for its lecturers.
As for UPM Serdang, over 20 participants from various faculties attended. Professor Dr Sidek Haji Abdul Aziz and Professor Madya Dr Zaidan Abdul Wahab represented the Science Faculty whereby they will be driving the development of e-contents for PutraLMS UPM. The Director of the Academic Development Center, Professor Madya Dr Aida Suraya Md Yunus also joined the workshop with high hopes that all the attendees will be able to produce high quality e-contents with LectureMAKER and plans to purchase LectureMAKER for the whole faculty.
